For the price we paid, Reykjavik Hostel Village was a steal! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions and parking.

Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, but thankfully the 24/7 kitchen made up for it.

the hostel exceeded our expectations during our honeymoon. it was clean, comfortable, and had a well-stocked kitchen. the location was convenient for exploring the city and the hostel had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel welcome and at home.

small room without a double bed

Hotel Floki was exceptional value for money. Very close to the centre of town, the hotel had cosy beds and a very good breakfast for the price (cereals, toast, jams, cheese, salad, fresh juice, coffee and tea). The hotel manager was consistently very friendly and helpful. The shower had a strong sulphur smell but that's to be expected from Iceland! Overall I'd def recommend this hotel.

Ideally located for city centre, Hallgrimskirkja & bus station Good breakfast and use of the kitchen to self cater. Free wifi worked well Good 'blackout' curtains for the 'midnight' sun

Room wasn't cleaned for 4 days Noisy doors and inconsiderate fellow travellers in the early hours.

For the price we paid, we got great value for our money with a spacious room and helpful staff. The location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions and the beach.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe more variety of options.

The hotel staff were helpful and the location was very close to downtown. Close to the BSI (bus) terminal.

The bathroom and kitchen were quite disappointing. The kitchen was not well-kept and didn't have proper equipment (e.g. no fridge). The bathrooms didn't have full shower curtains, etc.

Cheap and relatively close to the city centre and busstation

It's not a hotel, but a hostel. shower and toilet are shared. There's a kitchen, that could be a benefit. Cleaning was well below standerds; it was pretty dirty and apparently not cleaned during our three day stay. Breakfast was pathetic. Towels were not changed.

The location, comfy beds, family-friendly atmosphere, safe environment, helpful receptionist, close to the city center.

    Nothing all good.

There was no problem with the moving of the check-out time for half an hour, if we waited for a rented car.

We were accommodated in the next building - the double-room was very very small (about 8-9 m2). It was quite unpleasant after the arrival from the mountains with big backpacks.

    The receptionists were very nice.

The bathroom was disgusting! The whole hotel just seemed kind of grungy and its location was not good. Also there were not enough bathrooms to accommodate the number of people in the hotel. Breakfast was passable but not good.

Stayed in a 4-bed dorm, bright and airy with plenty of room. Clean throughout. Free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. 5-minute walk from the main street and bus station.

Felt totally at home, no reason to complain.

The staff is extremely helpful except for a short term staff there. The lady helped us a lot to book all the tours and gave us the tips.
